WHAT IS HARDOX ?

All our products are made basically of Hardox, that is the best raw material used to work also in extreme conditions (for example -40° C). Inside you can find Hardox 400, or Hardox 450 or also Hardox 500.

HARDOX STEEL is universally recognized as the best steel due to high abrasion resistance and excellent mechanical features. Hardox provides a unique combination of hardness and toughness. This opens for smarter, lighter structures with extreme performance and extended service life.

The most important difference between Hardox and just ”some hard steel” is the toughness. That is what makes it possible to use it as a structural steel. It can be bent, formed and welded without loosing its properties. Together with the high yield strength this opens up for lighter designs.

What is demolition in construction?

The word demolition means destruction, dismantling or removal. Demolition of building is the process of dismantling or destroying of a structure after its life of serviceability by pre-planned and controlled methods. Demolition is the first step for the recovery of areas in disuse and sanitation of areas with strong environmental impact.


Demolition is divided into 3 different phases:


  • Primary Demolition is the set of works aimed at breaking down a building and removing the materials
  • Secondary Demolition consists in the separation and reduction to fragments of what has already beed demolished
  • Selective Demolition  aims to recovery of recyclable and valuable elements resulting from the demolished material
